Have no problem booting from my eeePC.
Biggest issue is the eeePC itself. You have to switch select the SD card as if it were a HDD to boot off. Normally, I've seen SD or usb devices selected when you chose "removable media" or some such as the boot device.

We now have a beta installer that addresses the association problem, and also adds support for installing over WPA PSK protected networks. It still needs a bit of polish, but the basic functionality is there. Image is currently only available at http://foomagic.org/eeepc/installer/
(be patient, my upstream is slow)

Well. There are more things to Eee PC then working wireless. Picking strongest signal by default is annoying. Do all the function keys work? Does default install handle hibernation? Does it place all possible file systems on tmpfs to save SSD writes? Does it set swappiness and any of the other power and disk saving tricks? How long does it take to boot the default install?
